I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, but always long to get to North Carolina because my family usually spent our summer vacations there and I just loved it! So, I decided to go to college in NC where I graduated from Elon University in 2003 with a BSBA-Concentration in Marketing. I always knew that I wanted to work in the real estate industry and I have ever since graduating from Elon. After college, the first opportunity I had in real estate was back home in FL where I started working in new home sales in Jacksonville. My success in Florida led to an opportunity here in Charlotte, NC and I was thrilled to get back.
I have now been back in NC living in Charlotte for over 5 years. I currently live in Chantilly, a neighborhood situated between Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood. Chantilly is minutes from Uptown and has a great deal of charm. The beautiful oak-lined streets and classic but vintage style homes give my neighborhood real curb appeal.
I love real estate for several reasons.
I’m a social gal and the more I’m out and about talking to and meeting people, the happier I am. The real estate process – buying, selling, or investing – is fascinating. No two deals are the same. No two clients are the same. No two days are the same. It keeps my job interesting, challenging, and fun.
For my clients, the best thing I can give them is my undivided attention as well as trying to make the process as smooth as possible for them. Their wishes, wants, and needs are the most important part of the real estate process and my job is to listen, but to also make it fun and enjoyable for them. Buying, selling or investing in a home can be hard. I enjoy guiding my clients through the process, being the expert they need and answering all of the questions they have.
I love living in Charlotte, NC. My husband Adam is a Charlotte native and commercial real estate broker here in town. We enjoy getting together with friends, taking in everything Charlotte has to offer, and of course talking about real estate. We have a German Shepherd, Bishop, who loves chasing tennis balls at the Chantilly Park.
