Chantilly Tree Education Program

One of the most attractive attributes to our Chantilly neighborhood are our tree-lined streets! To learn more about our gorgeous tree canopy, including how to keep it healthy for years to come, please attend our neighborhood meeting this Saturday, April 25th. Tim Porter, Assistant City Arborist for the City of Charlotte, will be the main speaker. The meeting will be at 10:00am at Chantilly Hall, 2101 Shenandoah Ave. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to secretary@ichantilly.org. While many Charlotteans assume the trees are a main-stay in the City, without care, the older trees will eventually come down from either natural causes or planned. If you missed this informative article from the Charlotte Observer earlier this year highlighting some of the issues with the City’s aging trees, please clickhere.
