Hope for the Holidays

The wonderful thing about the holidays is that it’s not only a time to receive, but to give. The Elizabeth Community is notoriously generous around the Christmas season. On Sunday, December 8th, the Elizabeth Community Association hosted a toy drive called Hope for the Holidays. The drive was held for Right Start Parent for Life, a program operating through Children’s Home Society of North Carolina. Right Start focuses on building nurturing parenting skills for young mothers ages 17-23 years old who are in foster care or who have aged out of the foster care system. Mothers and their young children receive weekly home visits, attend activities, share support, and learn how to have fun and nurture themselves and their children while building a solid parenting foundation.

The goal of the event was to collect 35 gifts for Right Start, and the ECA community exceeded this by collecting 82 gifts. Despite the weather, the community came out to support this worthy cause. Way to go, Elizabeth!

For my clients, the best thing I can give them is my undivided attention as well as trying to make the process as smooth as possible for them. Their wishes, wants, and needs are the most important part of the real estate process and my job is to listen, but to also make it fun and enjoyable for them. Buying, selling or investing in a home can be hard. I enjoy guiding my clients through the process, being the expert they need and answering all of the questions they have.
