Chantilly Spring Fling

The 2011 Spring Fling was the best yet with beautiful weather and over 180 neighbors in attendance. The day was perfect while we sat outside at our great Chantilly Neighborhood Park and watched the kids bounce the afternoon away in the bouncy house sponsored by Bungalow Designs Inc. and Kennedys Premium Bar & Grill. The Morristowne Brass Ensemble entertained us while we dined on barbecue smoked right here in Chantilly at Craig Georges house and cupcakes from local bakery Sunflour Baking Company.

A big thank you goes out to neighbor Paul Dowdy of Starr Properties for his 4th year of logistical support. We would also like to thank the rest of our sponsors, Dryden Design Build, Genevieve Williams of Savvy + Co, Patrick Powers of Waddell and Reed and Southern Canopies Tree Service. With total sponsorship of over $725 we were able to cut CNAs costs down to only $393, well below the budgeted $1,000.

We will seek even more sponsors next year to make the event as affordable and fun as possible. Now that so many of you have seen where dues dollars go please consider joining the Chantilly Neighborhood Association by visiting our newly revamped ichantilly.org
